University High School freshman Nyla was named to the 3rd team of Indiana’s top performing volleyball players of the 2029 Class by the Indianapolis Star. Blanding was also a participant in the Indiana Elite North VS South 2A Showcase.

Welcome to a brand new season of Indy Magic Volleyball! I’m Coach Steve Kim, and I couldn’t be more excited to join this incredible program and lead a group of dedicated, talented, and passionate athletes.
As your Director & Head Coach, my mission goes beyond just winning matches. I’m here to prepare you for the next level, both on and off the court. Whether your goal is to play in high school, college, or simply to become the best version of yourself, I will bring the structure, discipline, and support needed to help you grow.
My coaching philosophy is built on hard work, smart play, and team unity. I believe in developing well-rounded players who understand the game, communicate effectively, and compete with confidence. With a focus on skill development, strategic thinking, and mental toughness, my leadership will challenge you to push your limits and elevate your game.
